Samsung U940 For Verizon And Sprint

The Samsung U940 is headed for Verizon and Sprint, apparently. The Samsung U940 has been rumored about heading to Verizon for quite some time now, but Sprint may be getting the handset as well. This news comes from FCC’s website where they pretty sloppily try to hide the carriers this phone is headed to. They try to Photoshop over the Verizon logo, and then also mention compatibility with Sprint’s Power Vision.

Hmm, interesting.    PhoneScoop has more: “The Samsung U940 is a CDMA version of the Ultra Edition F700. It is a sideways slider that has a full QWERTY keyboard, EV-DO data, Bluetooth and memory card slot. The camera has been downgraded from 5 to 2 megapixels, and there is no word if it is still autofucus or not. The documents show Verizon branding on the phone and also mention compatibility with Sprint’s Power Vision services.
