The Glyde Verizon Samsung U940 is a new handset set to launch in late March. The Samsung Verizon U940 Glyde was originally the code name "Q-Ball", but this was most likely an internal name for the device. We are really pleased with the new name change, as the code name sounds a bit strange and Glyde seems the handset fits much better because it is a slider.
The new Samsung Verizon U940 Glyde will: CDMA / EV-DO, Bluetooth, full QWERTY keyboard and memory slot. The camera is 2 megapixels, and there is no word if autofucus will or not. The FCC documents show Verizon brand on the phone and also mention the compatibility with Sprint Power Vision services – so I guess we will see! Source.
