The Alaska DigiTel unlimited calling, texting and picture messaging plans seem to outdo anything USA mainland carriers are currently offering. This is pretty impressive seeing as Alaska DigiTel is pretty much a mom-and-pop cell phone company. Well, I guess you should expect that when Alaska’s population is not very high. Last week T-Mobile, Sprint & Verizon announced unlimited calling plans (T-Mobile inlcluded texting) for under $100.
Not too shabby, but take a look at what Alaska DigiTel customers were already getting: $79. 99 National Unlimited calling $69. 99 Unlimited local and long distance calling, picture and text messaging $49. 99 Local Unlimited calling $24. 95 Local Shared Unlimited calling Way to go Alaska DigiTel! Maybe if all carriers would follow their lead, we’d be doing pretty good.
